Maui is an oceanfront paradise. As such, oceanfront and beachfront property is very desirable, rare and highly sought after. Finding an oceanfront home or homesite can take perseverence and research as to what area is right for you.
Each area has its own community and particular charms. West and South Maui tend to be more resort areas, with golf courses, large hotels, and shopping and restaurants. The parcels on the North Shore and Hana tend to be larger, more rural settings, and can yield a great sense of privacy. Central Maui oceanfront is located close to the airports and the centers of island business.

Central Maui includes Kahakuloa, Waihee, Waiehu, Wailuku, Kahului and Maalaea
East Maui includes Keanae, Nahiku, Hana, Kipahulu and Kaupo
